Accessibility

The National Gallery offers adapted tours and services for people with special needs. An inclusive approach encourages visitors to explore art through their senses. Registration required three weeks in advance to some activities: 613-990-4888 or reservations@gallery.ca.

The Gallery is entirely wheelchair accessible.

NGC/MBAC

The Auditorium and Lecture Hall have a wireless amplification system. Wheelchairs, portable FM assistive listening devices and information in adapted formats for selected temporary exhibitions are available. Enquire at the information desk.

Stimulating the Senses

Explore art in new and exciting ways! This inclusive one-hour program is geared to encourage visitors to discover art through senses other than sight. Registration priority is given to blind and partially-sighted people. Cost: $7, Members $6. Registration required at 613-998-8888 or reservations@gallery.ca.
