The National Gallery of Canada’s Library and Archives has brought together artists’ books, documents, and objects as a tribute to Art Metropole’s 40th anniversary. By exploring how artists inspire each other through adapting art practices set by their predecessors, this exhibition demonstrates how repurposed works can be transformed into new statements.
