Italian Drawings from Canadian Collections
16 Feb 2001 - 27 Mar 2001
The National Gallery of Canada presents its greatest Italian drawings from the 16th to 19th centuries in the exhibition Italian Drawings from Canadian Collections. Comprised of a selection of some seventy works from the NGC's outstanding collection of Old Master Italian drawings, complimented by fifteen loans from other Canadian collections, this landmark exhibition makes many of these beautiful pen, ink and chalk drawings available to the public for the first time. The exhibition is on view in the Prints, Drawings and Photography Galleries from 16 February to 13 May 2001.
