Clarence Gagnon, 1881-1942: Dreaming the Landscape

Comprising more than 200 works by one of Canada’s most beloved Quebec artists, this is the first major retrospective dedicated to Clarence Gagnon since the commemorative exhibition held following his death in 1942. The exhibition, which includes paintings, pochades (oil sketches), prints, drawings, sketches, illustrations, and decorative arts and crafts, examines all facets of Gagnon’s work and stages of his career in Canada and France. Organized by the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. Presented by Bombardier.
