Photomontage is the process of combining various photographic or photomechanical images to make a new image. Canadian artist Pierre Guimond's early photomontages were made by arranging and rephotographing some of the thousands of images he had collected from mass media sources. Since 1995, he has scanned his own photographs and digitally altered and recombined them. |
